paint removal with oven cleaner

    well i thought this was very well know but for those who dont know. oven cleaner removes paint off of plastic with out destroying it. this is a video of how i do it

    also i say in the video i am not sure if it will work on TF plastic well i did do it on a g1 jetfire without any ill effects

    yeah, we used to use this to remove lettering off truck/car doors when I worked in a sign shop back in college. it's nasty stuff, but gets all the paint off and doesn't effect the plastic at all.

    My apologies for my first post being one of digging up an old thread... but I just did this same thing, however, it severely yellowed my once pristine white plastic :( 

    I used yellow-cap Easy-Off and only applied long enough to remove a horrible enamel attempt on the red accents.

    Thoughts?
