Customs: Paint Removal suggestions

    Anyone recommend using Nail polish remover to remove paint??...Is it about the same as using regular Alcohol??...or will nail polish remover do something to the plastic??

    Nail polish remover has acetone. Acetone loves to melt plastic. I would avoid it at all costs. Stick to alcohol, it works best.

    90% alcohol is what you need along with some Q-tips and Dish detergent for clean up. A little elbow grease and some patience works every time.

    nail polish remover softens the plastic up.This is something that is used for doing dye.I'm not sure how it will do on removing paint I've never tried it.
