    In order of liklihood:

    1) Blast-Off.
    2) Ratchet.
    3) Nosecone.
    4) Strafe.
    5) Lightspeed.

The UW versions of everything else is just paint.

They did (at least for Arcee and Grotusque). They just sold out super fast.

I'd love to have more Takara Technobot tooling in Hasbro colour schemes. That'd be awesome, though I feel it's probably unlikely.

Uh yeah we did get Blast Off initially

This figure isn't that bad! But it gets so screwed over by the community just because its not Blast Off enough   I'm honestly not even that excited for a US release of that terrible looking UW mold, I mean I just know I'm going to end up getting it but it better be in the colors of the Harrier Blast Off.

I agree that the idea of Blast-Off being a jet is perfectly acceptable, but would it have killed them to at least give him a proper face???

I also have always hated the UW Blast-Off mold for many reasons and you're right Starscream The CW Blast-Off is just fine and totally works with the team and it honestly makes more sense for him to be a jet instead of a space shuttle.

This goes to another problem with the PotP line in general, because it is basically Combiner Wars part two they can just keep reusing old figures instead of making new molds for new figures.

Yep, CW Blastoff is really a beautiful figure. The brown just sets the purple off so nicely, and the sculpt is really great. I can't fault those who want a more G1 looking homage, but I honestly think the sculptors should have gone for a shuttle that more closely resembled our shuttle orbiter, a quintessential icon of the 80's. I'm going to buy this guy because I love combiners.

If I had a dollar for every person who probably thinks we don't ever deserve modern G1 homages...

I feel like Amazon has a weird relationship with the Transformers brand. So much of the product is sold at high markups or deep discounts by resellers and Amazon itself seems to price things arbitrarily. And the inventory is always spotty. Hasbrotoyshop was a good venue but Hasbro just doesn't put enough inventory up since i'm guessing over 95% of inventory is stuck going through normal brick and mortar retail.

My biggest issue with CW Blast Off isn't that he's a jet or even that he has a face. My biggest issue is that he's yet another iteration of the snoozefest Aerialbot mold. It's not a bad toy by any means I'm just incredibly sick of looking at it.

Even if UW Blast Off is an objectively worse toy at least he's a new one.

Oh I’m with you on that!
Hopefully Hasbro makes a couple of changes to the mold before the release.. hard to explain, but UW Blast Off feels like a cheap 3P figure at times.

I've repurposed it as Shattered Glass Slingshot travelling to the main G1 universe(s) and becoming an evil Decepticon.

Man that is a great idea! I always thought though that in the SG world the Aerialbots colors would be based on the Stunticons & the Protectobots based on the Combaticons but I'd still consider repurposing this guy as SG Slingshot once I get POTP Blast Off.

Not sure if I'll get Blast Off. I already got both the UW and CW figures.

Though I do love the toy colours a bit more for Blast Off.

I'd be more impressed if vortex gets a re-release retool with 4 rotor blades.

    Then there's this :)

I wouldn't be surprised if Hasbro released the UW Technobots, maybe even at regular retail. Takara put a lot of money into those remolds, and probably wants Hasbro to use them to get more of their investment back. Plus the Technobots are the rivals to the Terrorcons, so they would be a sensible release (especially since the Hasbro CW Technobot set was slightly limited in release anyhow).

Normally I would follow tradition and have the directly opposing team transfer their colors with each other. But since Blast Off was repainted from Slingshot, I settled upon it being an acceptable break from tradition.

You'd just need to pop the arms off at the bicep's mushroom joint and switch 'em around.
