    Hello everyone,

I didn't see either of the pieces of news posted, so, I'm posting them both here together.

The Club updated with a picture of the finalized SG Cyclonus and Krunux figures:
    The Official Transformers Collectors' Club

In addition, they announced that order forms for both Cyclonus with Krunix and Punch/Counterpunch will be going up soon. :D

Also, in an interview with Seibertron.com, it was confirmed that P/CP will not have remolded hands.

Here is a link to the interview:

Exclusive Interview with the Transformers Collector's Club's Pete Sinclair

(Personally, I'm rather saddened to hear this. :(  I'm also not certain what budget they're referring to, I don't think that anyone would have minded paying a slightly higher price to accommodate the extra remolded hands.)

In addition to the news on P/CP, we were also given a preview of another Elite Guard member: Over-Run. It would seem that, unlike EG Metalhawk, Over-Run is actually based on an existing figure: Energon Bulkhead, with a new headscuplt. On the down side, the interview confirms that there are no plans to make a Over-Run toy.

Also, just for fun, something to consider; from information at Botcon, we know that Cyclonus was not the original second Club figure planned. What we do know was the this first figure was supposed to be larger than a deluxe, and was canceled due to circumstances. It has been confirmed that Over-Run was not going to be this figure, so, what figure could the Club have been planning?

Well you can just pop the hands out on P/CP when you transform him anyway.

This is true, however, how often can this be done before the figure suffers damage as a result? For me, with P/CP being both an expensive, and an exclusive figure, I'd rather not take any chances.

This is just me though, I've learned the hard way, many, many, times: always, always, better safe than sorry. :)  I'm quite happy for those that employ this solution, and find it to work for them. :)

Cool stuff...I finally broke down and joined the club this year so P/CP will be a nice addition at the (small) discounted price. Too bad about the hands, but I'm sure it won't be TOO big of a deal.

SG Cyclonus looks pretty nice too...I don't have any other SG toys but I can come up with some crazy explanation for the red Decepticon insignia for my own idiotic canon I'm sure :)

Hey - he answered! So we just have to keep guessing...

Sorry to hear that about C/PC. I'm among the group that would have paid more for the hands... I'm sure one of the radicons/repro gurus will have a set up soon, though!

... Also, is it just me, or does the gray on SG Cyclonus make the figure look really flat? I actually think I like him LESS now :-/

  10. Not so great news about the hands. Still can't wait for my PCP.

I can live with the hand news regarding P/CP. Sure I might be bummed for a second but I'm sure I'll get over it. :)

About that SG Cyclonus... I can see the Club having him up for sale for years & he still won't move...

Probably for the best that they just focused on the headsculpt for P/CP, since that's the more important area. Doesn't matter much to me, though, since I've decided to pass on the figure; I can't justify spending $80 - $100 on a Deluxe at the moment. Although, who knows, maybe by the time the Club actually gets around to taking orders for it ("soon"...right...), I might have the money.

A little bit sad about the hands but I can live with it and really want that Punch figure.
the grey look sort of bad on that Cyclonus, hopefully it looks better irl, cuz I still want it. I cant get enough of that mold.
