A couple weeks ago I found a beat up second-generation Camaro on craigslist, and was sorely tempted to drop $3 grand on a car worth turning into Bumblebee. Due to the amount of work needed, I had to pass. However, another chance to own a Transformer has just come up.

Complete with the big-rig stacks and the 20 inch wheels paired with 40 inch tires. Oh, and the Autobot logo is molded into the back tailgate, just as in the movie. This truck may not turn into an actual Autobot, but it will transform your wallet to empty: Retail price is $75,000.

I just saw the Ironhide truck on display along with the other Autobot cars (minus Jazz) at a local theater. It is such a freaking cool truck. The wheels are massive and I doubt it can be driven on public streets. But its such an awesome truck that if I could buy it I would along with Bumblebee.  

 

that looks pretty good for running over stuff.

 

*Needs to transform to be worth it. Oh and an Autobot logo on the back, can't forget that.

If I was willing to let go of my Saturn, and had $75k to blow at random, I'd buy an Ironhide.

However - I'd prefer to save up my pennies, put on my trucker hat, secure my class A license, and buy me an Optimus clone. Really - what challenge is traffic gonna be when you got a flame-painted tractor-trailer cab?
