This question is better suited here. Last complete Godmaster Overlord sold on ebay at a buy it now price of $200.00. The one currenty on ebay at around $130.00 shipped is a good price.

I don't think that's a bad price at all on that auction. Sucks that it doesn't have stickers though.

Not worth getting because IMO serarching for his missing parts can be difficult to find.

Ya I would be inclined to wait and get a nicer one then that.

Overlord is a great toy, got him at the top of my current grail list myself. Personally I would if you going loose, get a good complete one which you should be able to pick up in the $150ish range. Boxed I would say around $250ish depending.

But ya I would pass on that one and save up for a really minty one, trust me this toy's worth being patient over.

nobody has said anything about there even being a consideration for a reissue, just fans dreaming for one of course... that could be an exceptionally long wait.

Replacing parts is one thing, but if there are stickers missing, it's going to be a major pain replacing them.....

Yup. What people keep overlooking is that Overlord was about $60 back in 1988. So what's it going to cost now??

On the basis of price, and relaltibe obscuity, it's not one of the more likely reissues i'd say.

Plus Overlord isn't actually that hard to get. Just a bit on the pricey side.

For what it's worth, I just picked up a mint condition complete Overlord for $145 plus shipping. I'd say the ebay value is about $220 on a good day. But I haven't seen that many complete Overlords in good condition, so mine could be worth more.

That would make it $95 today. Considering many if not most vintage toys go for well more than twice the inflation-corrected retail price, $200 or so for boxed Overlord is a bargain.

if you really like overlord i suggest getting one complete since going thru junkers can be expensive in itself.

a friend of mine went thru 5 junkers to complete one. but he still ended up with 3 decent ones.

Well, Overlord is one of the good things for us European Transfans... :)

You in america got all the cool 84 toys, we here in middle-Europe got our first TFs around 1988 - prior to that, the communists didn't really let any western product get in here... :(

I remember seeing shelves full of Overlords back in 1990 - they were so expensive and people were so poor, I remember seeing Overlord in stores even around 1994...

For a strange reason, he - along with Skyquake and PM Prime - are the most commonly found toys here. Sadly, finding him complete and with parts is very hard. I was lucky to buy a boxed one a year ago, but since then I found and sold around 5 or 6 Overlords...

If anyone's interested, I got 2 and a half now - I'm in the middle of trading the most complete one for a Scorponok, but I'm sure there'll be some left afterwards.... :)
