http://au.gamespot.com/ps3/action/overlord/index.html This is due out next week, i am wondering if anyone has the original Overlord?
I played the demo of this - hopefully I'll be getting it for my birthday - I like the game's sense of humour.
I have it. Its a really fun game, I haven't gotten very far into it yet though. I can't see why they released the PS3 version for full price, even with extra content (which is the paid DLC on 360 I think). I got the 360 version less than a month ago for $15 new. No, its just a survival mode for two players.
Dunno since I never played the game past the demo, but your an evil badass, you can build an Evil Tower, you can get two Evil Wifes who furnish the Evil Tower based on their Evil Tastes....Only the heroes are actually more like corrupt heroes. Damn, I need to buy this game.
Yep just played the demo and it is kinda silly but i still loved it. It's not all doom and gloom darkness but you are an evil prick.!!
I've played the original on the PC, and even though my aged relic of a computer could barely keep the game steady at 15fps, I rather enjoyed the game. Being an evil prick rocks. My only real gripe (which actually goes against the whole purpose of the game) is that I wish the Overlord could do more by himself instead of having to rely on his minions (cute as they may be). His dependence on them kills his baddassery.
Actually I read an add that said there would be some online missions. Not entirely sure what that would be though.
OK i've got it and i've nearly finished it. It is a good fun little game, it pokes fun at the LOTR series too. You must go in not expecting reality and blood and guts, i have hardly used my axe at all. This said i am glad i got it and i will exchange it for another game before my 7 day money back runs out. But i am glad i got it.

Bugger - I didn't get this for my birthday despite all the hints I dropped, I guess I'll wait to see if it gets a bit cheaper before picking it up.
I need to pick up the original for PC. I loved the Dungeon Keeper series which this is basically the spiritual succsor too since EA bought Bullfrog and stopped the team continuing their own main projects...
