I don't know if this is a rare item. I'm not sure if I'm allowed post KO auctions here, read the rules and there was no mention.

This is an interesting KO auction, a remolded Overlord, wow thats some price though. The seller is trying to pass it off as genuine.

I knew which one this would be before clicking the link :D

The seller has had one of these on ebay for at least a year or so, he's sold at least half a dozen in that time, so people are willing to pay that price (it is too much though). I'd love to know how many of them he has.

He occasionaly has another with chromed bits, and three Powermasters!:

It's about double the price though.

Incidentally, posting KO auctions is fine on here, they're just not supposed to be on ebay itself.

what did he do? that is a rare figure that not many people get to own (and a KO at that lol). it not like he is trying to pass it off as the real thing

this is a legitimate auction.....no need to stop it

This doesn't need reported as it's easily distinguishable from the real thing. It's the recent Zhong Zhin etc. KO's I have a problem with, they are insidious to the fandom.

KO's like this Overlord, which are recoloured, resized, remolded etc. are sought after, I have several unusual KO's, none of which could be passed off as the real thing.

EDIT: We all should keep the KO debate out of the thread before it spirals downwards..............

I quite like the look of it's goofy self. Feck it, if I had more money than sense I'd probably pick it up, having full knowledge of what it is of course. But sadly I've much more sense than money, so the seller can keep it.

No point reporting him, I imagine this is a sought after item, it might even be worth the price to somebody. I read on tf wiki something or other about it. It was just cool to see it. I must troll through ebay more for the odd guffaw.

Ninety, I feel drawn to that garish version you put up though, you'd think they'd have packed in a pair of sun glasses for handling instead of an extra powermaster.

Yeah, when your Overlord has Star Saber's head, you know it's not the real deal :p

Plus, it would be one thing if he said in the auction "This is an authentic licensed Korean Overlord. REAL DEAL!", or something. In that case, it *might* be worth reporting, like with KO Battle Convoy auction, where the seller made explicit claims that the item was real. In contrast, the Korean Overloard auction description just says it's "rare version transformers g1", which is pretty ambiguous.

I'd love both of them, but they're overpriced, I tried to work out a deal with him last year, but he wouldn't budge on the price. He said he sold enough of them that he didn't need to haggle, they do seem to shift as well.

I like the chrome drill on this one:

I've got more pics of it if you'd like them via PM (don't wanna clog up the thread).

Check out the KO thread in the toy forum for lots more garish TF's.

Hope you had a good Paddy's day man :drunk

Normally I take issue with the ambiguous auctions, but if you're spending this amount without knowing what you're buying, then caveat emptor man!

Aye, I'd be keen to see the pics if you don't mind, the drill is a nice touch.

I've been up and down the KO thread, only makes me wish my local poundshops were worth dirt. I may have to add some of the junk I've picked up, though its slim pickings here.

I'm a barman, so Paddies was alot of watching people get messy and falling over. All in good sport of course.

    Fact!!

I, for one, absolutely love this toy, and if I had the extra dough, I would definately pick it up in a split second heartbeat.
