Hey guys, I'm looking for a little help.I'm overhauling my Computer.

    From:
    AMD Athlon XP 1800 1.5Ghz, Asus Mobo (can't remeber which one) 752mb Ram, nVidia 7600 GS, 250 & 160Gb harddrives & 500w Ultra X-connect PSU.

    To:
XFX nForce 680i LT SLI Motherboard,
    Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 CPU 2.40GHz,
    Corsair TwinX 2048mb PC 6400 DDR2 Ram (2 x 1024),
XFX Geforce 8800 GT Extreme Edition 512mb DDR3, PCI Express 2.0, SLI ready video card,
SATA Seagate Barracuda 7200 500GB hard drive,
Ultra X2 750w SLI/SATA ready modular power supply,
& Thermaltake 775 MaxOrb CPU Cooler
    I'll be runnig Windows Vista.

Now here is where I need the advice, What Audio card should I go with ???
I'm willing to spend about $100ish. I've only ever used onboard sound before & I'm only using a 2.1 speaker set up.
Any help would be great, Thanks guys

It's cheap, but I get great surround sound out of my Diamond 7.1 24-Bit Sound card. I use coaxial audio output into my Sony DTS system and don't seem to have any problems. Of course, I'm sure there's more high-end merchandise out there, though.
