I customised inner robot Thunderwing from the Sentinel Prime/Astrotrain mold with Nucleon as the head.

 

So it's time for the semi-annual "Animation Broadside Face" request, I suppose. I'm not sure how you'd make such a TALL face (he's got a huge forehead/crest thing going on) work with the TR face limitations, though. Interested to see what you come up with!

 

What parts, specifically, would you want in such a kit?

Broadside's other face versions are toward the top of the request pile, after I finish up my Chaos on Velocitron add-ons. If the crest peeks out of the "safe box" I can always make two versions, like I have with other characters with horns, helmet-wings, etc.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that folks are likely gonna expect the Quickswitch swords to have similar pegs and slots as TR Sixshot's rifles so as to attach to the jet, tank, and "submarine" modes, Trent. IDK if you have either version of the mold in-hand, but it might be worth parking the Quickswitch rifles until you can get that locked in....

(Might I suggest putting the wing-peg slots on the sides of the 'grip' so the "fins" form upright stabilizers?)

I'm trying to get measurements for the wing tabs right now, I can convert the slots just above the grip to serve that purpose. The "Submarine" mode may be tricky, since I can't see any way of locking the guns in there while maintaining the fins, though between the wing-tab ports, the 5mm peg, the 5mm ports and the 2mm titan peg ports, there's bound to be a decent attachment point.

 

I'd go for the arm cannons, new wings, new chestplate, and a few small panels to break up the purple and white.

 

The design has since been updated. The guns now have wing-ports on the sides (just above the grip) and one underneath, to affix them to either be flat with the wing or perpendicular to it, to your preference.

 

Trent, you really need an avatar that honors your achievements. I stink at art, though, otherwise I'd whip one up.

For Voyager Titans Return Prime, I decided to make a turret similar to the ones the original Laser Prime toy had, only with a Titan master gunner seat. It has a 5mm peg on the bottom so it can be held gun-style, has four 5mm ports (two top, two on each side) 2mm foot-pegs on the top surface, and a support arm that has 2 5mm ports and 2 5mm pegs. This lets the turret attach to almost any 5mm port or peg via an articulated arm.

Which leads to a question. Is there interest in guns that double as seated turrets for snapping onto Titans?

 

Yes. A lot.

That's a good idea. I was meaning for it to be "filler". Like for the Titanmaster to be in gum mode without an exposed face.
