Hi guys Sorry, it's not an update (though more WILL be coming I promise) Just a quick post to assure you I've not forgotten about this comic. I've had some serious health issues these past few months that have torn my energy levels down close to zero, to the point where I couldn't even post much online or write more than a paragraph of text. Thankfully, the worst of it seems to have passed, so I'm able to start turning my eye to my old hobbies again, and this comic is top of the pile of things I want to get back to. I've been getting my grove back by photographing the NECA Colonial Marines and Aliens figs, and now I'm itching to start laying down some serious GIMP time on those Alternators and Binaltechs. They've been loafing around listless for way too long... Just want to say a massive thank you to everyone who has stuck with the story so far, despite my terrible irregularity when it comes to updating, and I promise that this comic will always be on my list of things to do. Also, Grimlock has blunt pencils and this scares me.
Yikes on those serious health issues, but I'm so glad that you're starting to get better. And no rush on updating the comic and no need to apologize for posting updates irregularly. We understand.

Take your time and prioritize your health of course. It's good to hear that you are feeling better. Out of the dead land is the best thing since sliced bread, but unlike sliced bread it doesn't get stale. We get the updates when we get them.
Health is the most important thing in life. Get better first, make comics later. We'll hang around here untill you're ready for an update.
Healing is what's important. We all look forward to updates, but when you're ready to go. It's one thing I've noticed about this part of the fandom--we get disappointed when the updates aren't there, but we come running back as soon as they do. Take your time--we'll be here. And seriously. What can I say about updating? I mean, really...
Followed a link from a post signature... Found a thread full of 10% awesomeness and 95% people gushing over all that awesomeness! (Yean 105%... it's that good ) I sat down at 9am this morning and made it to the end at 5:30pm.. I am only posting because next page does not work anymore. This is probably one of the best web comics I have EVER read. I didn't read most of the other peoples comments although the ones I did read were spot on to what I felt. This actually makes me want to go buy a bunch of previously characterless Alternators.. I really want an Alt Grimlock right now! Chris

I saw OODL on the first page the other day, and hoped it was an update from CH. Sadly, it was not, but I decided to marathon the entire story again. It's been fun to re-read this gem again! I can't wait to find out about the backstory to Perceptor's death. Your readers are still patiently waiting I hope your health has improved, Coolhand. I...still...function Just quick post to re-assure you all that I'm not dead, and that this story is something I plan on finishing come hell or high water. At the moment my heath is still not great, and though I am making progress, and every month is better than the last, I still don't have a lot of physical or creative energy at my disposal right now. Things WILL get better, and there WILL be more updates, but for now, here is some MP Prowl. I love MP Prowl. The MP rebooted line is a thing of immense yum.
