Some friends and I entered the Detroit 48 hr film fest a few weeks ago. We had to draw a genre out of a hat and were given a character name, line of dialogue and a prop to use. We then had 48 hours to write, film, edit, etc..a 4-7 minute movie. It was tough but we made the deadline with 10 minutes to spare.

It was a lot of fun to make. We were not happy having drawn "silent film" as our genre but we made the best of it and it's funny as hell to us.. We ended up being in the top 10 films (of 43) and won best silent film(out of 6).

We decided to make a reality type show were the last person to speak wins. It was a convenient way to keep the film silent. In the end it became "how big an @$$ can we make the antagonist out to be".

    Hope you like it!
