I know that some of the members of this board collect figures from other toylines like Brave and Microman. I was just wondering what you guys would recommend as far as branching out beyond Transformers into other transforming lines.

Macross/Robotech/Mospeada (by Bandai, Toynami, Yamato & Wave)
That line I forgot the name of with the Garland (by Yamato)
Soul of Chogokin (huge line of classic robots, some of them are transforming)
    Brave (Takara or Sonokong)
    Eldoran (Tomy)
CM's (they made a few Brave and Eldoran masterpiece-like figures)
    Go-Bots/Rock Lords/Machine Robo (Tonka/Bandai)
    Star Wars Transformers (Hasbro)
    Godaikin (?)
Studio Half Eye (the most expensive line, they do transforming robots from various older shows)
    Brave Masterpiece (Takara)

I just started getting into other lines and picked up one of the 1/100 Macross toys. They're not too bad. I got a PVC of the Great Baan Gaan, and while it doesn't transform, it's utterly superb. :)

This is currently the best site for Brave toys. The only ones missing are some of the badguys, but they only made like 2 of them. So it's not a big deal.

Macross World is a great place for images and reviews of various Macross/Robotech toys. (That's a link directly to the toy section, click around for message boards and the like.)

I picked up Masterpiece Exkaiser. My only non-Transformers-brand transformer. He's very awesome.
