Is there another toy coming out?
Whens Red Alert comming?
no universe release has ever been talked about. and they wont make a wave for just red alert. so if it is ever released it would be after the movie line. right now its just henkei. and that release is unknown
This is the second thread on this subject in just as many days.
No. Hotshot and Ratchet are the last wave. Red Alert is not a US release and has not been mentioned.
i remember hearing the silver headed ironhide was gonna be in that wave
I'll believe it when I see it.
Meh, why bother with another purchase when you can just unscrew it and repaint it yourself? Seriously, it takes five minutes.
Nope. A wave 6 case is just Dinobot, Smokescreen, Hot Shot, and Ratchet (x2).
Probably just dinobots & smokescreens filling out box.
So in all this different information that is out there about the future of Universe isn't it safe to say that the following figures are left?
Deluxe: Hot Shot & Ratchet (Yeah I wish a TFU Red Alert was coming)
Ultra: Bruticus, TRU Exclusive Darkwing, Countdown
Would it be nice to see a Grapple retool from the Inferno mold? Hell yeah! But there's been no announcement as to if we will be getting that. And I wonder if Hasbro is going to take an easy move (lazy move in some people's eyes) and repaint Hound for a TFU Swindle and repaint Inferno for TFU Hot Spot?
they did say if any universe releases during the movie will be exclusives.... so im hoping red alert is like wal-fart or target release.
I just want to know what's happened to those next two waves of Robot Heroes (six sets in total) that we've seen pictures of but have yet to actually see any online preorders for.
An American release of Red Alert would be nice though, even if it had to be in movie packaging.
So red alert isnt a Henkei exclusive?
We'll have to wait and find out during Toy Fair.
Didn't realize the Universe line was ending so early. Whats happening between March when Ratchet and Hotshot are released and June when ROTF hits.
The line's going on hiatus for sure, with exclusives here and there (apparently), during the second film's run. Animated will continue to be a mainline along with ROTF.
And what's happening between the two is:
ROTF. It comes in May, the film in June. There are Animated releases scheduled for March, so really all it leaves is the month of April with nothing listed for release. That'll give them plenty of time to get the current Universe product out there, and have it sold and make room for ROTF by the end of May.
Now that I know the hiatus of Universe has come so soon, this means I'm gonna have to scramble to catch up on the figures I have missed. (Because once they stop shipping, their prices are gonna go through the roof.)
Never said I was buying another one.
