Who were the other Seekers shown in photos Simmons had stashed in his basement? Also, Wheelie pointed out a location of several of them on the map.
I'm not sure those were seekers. They were just ancient Transformers that had come to Earth millions of years ago.
Were they named as Seekers? I don't recall that, but it would fit for them to be Seekers as an explanation for how and why they arrived on earth. I remember one was a Model T, I recall one being a world war 2 bomber, and so on. I think the comics may have gone into it in more depth.
When Leo takes Sam to meet 'RoboWarrior' who's actually Agent Simmons. He takes them down to the restaurant's basement and shows some of the S7 files he had kept, with several pictures of old transformers. Wheelie called them legends I believe, so I assumed they were the other Seekers since he pointed some locations on the map. Jetfire was the closest. I'll try to find a clip.
I believe the exchange goes something like: Sam: "You recognize these?" Wheelie: "Yeah. Seekers, pal. Oldest of the old."
I'd love to see the other seekers. One was a Model T, another was an old bomber. There's so much possibility for clever designs with old vehicles.
What we know as ransack was actually the design for the Model T. can't remember who did it (Procter? i don't think nizzi) The head as the engine was from that design, Hasbro used that as inspiration to make ransack. I agree though, I'd love to see a toy line of just those. While I love the flashy sports cars and all, I like to see some diversity in designs. i fan boy squealed when i saw that part in the movie. And yes they were called seekers, but they weren't G1 seekers, but seekers of other planets and their suns, so they could harvest their energy. R! EDIT: found it, it even use the double machine gun that ransack has. Yeah, I remember seeing that, on the ROTF special features I think. Actually, maybe not. All I know is that I saw it a long while back.
That old red hot rod....he was a scout-class figure but I forgot his name. Wasn't he a Seeker? Good figure btw; too bad I lost it.
Count me in for the 'I'm in favor of Kup being the Model T' crowd. The WWII bomber could be Lugnut, played as a more grizzled version of his TFA self. Tracks has to be one of them, and voiced by George Takei. No ifs, ands or buts.
That was the first thing I thought when I saw all of Dylan's cars. I sat there waiting for one to transform. I would be all fangirl if they had some of the Seekers turn up. I so loved Jetfire.
