So um...whatever happened to a toy of Scrapper, generic Decepticlones, etc? Are they going to be made? Or is what we're getting pretty much it for the ROTF line?
The ROTF line is going to continue on to 2010, but Hasbro stated we're not getting ALL the designs as figures. We're still getting alot more, like Arcee, Moonracer, Long Haul, etc. but Scrapper has not been announced. The general consensous is that we'd all like one, though. The Legends Devastator does have a robot mode Scrapper, though. As for the Decepticlones, most likely not, as cool as they'd be.
I bet Hightower won't be getting a figure. Scrapper however, does seem to be designed with a robot mode in mind, so I'm sure he will get a bigger figure.
I'd really like to see a Scrapper. I mean, c'mon, we got Breakway who isn't in the movie. And Scrapper was there. Twice! One who died for Megatron's sake, and then when they were hunting for McKaela (This spelling makes me lol). We need Scrapper. At least. Oh, and is Purple Bike officially MoonRacer?
I've got a feeling that there will be ALOT more ROTF plastic action coming for quite some time. I'm not aware of any other line, beyond whatever comes out of the Hasbro channel, thats coming out anytime soon. I think we'll get lots of repaints, and more importantly, lots of new figures. This is big business for Hasbro, and with the undeniable success of the franchise so far, especially in the past 3 yrs, its on their best interest to keep the product coming.
Im sure Scrapper's already being made in the factories. Hell, we didn't know about Thrust and Gears until their ebay auctions turned up. So there's definitely still stuff coming out that Hasbro hasn't said anything about.
