    Bad link. Removed the auction?

I could see how someone from the customizing class could have pocketed and is now trying to sell the toy.

Weird. It probably was the OTFCC one and that was FunPubs going after it.

I reported that seller to Hasbro and Fun Pub, so a part of me is hoping that eBay pulled it at least partially because of my reports. I know they'll just get another ID, but they still have to pay for the listings.

Was it from the customizing class or the fan club one? Was the hood black or blue? I promised Shawn I would look to see if anyone tried to sell their customized figure.

I'm pretty sure it was light blue, but I know it had a red Autobot symbol. And why can't people sell custom class figures? I've never heard that before.

Well, technically the first customizing class had to promise not to sell them. For what that was worth. Nothing this time around. He just wanted to know, trying to guage what figures to do and what not. Most of this curiousity came from the year they had two kits and one which was not taken off the tree went on ebay and sold for an insane amount of money. I believe this auction was for the club exclusive.

Never got to see the original auction before eBay pulled it but it looks like there's another one out there. Looks sealed in bagged so probably not from the customization class. (Yet note on the bag it says Botcon 2008 on it)

To my knowledge, when I was in the class, that was the bag that the pieces came in originally as Pieces on "Trees" and to my knowledge, that reminds me of how it looked before it was painted.

To admit, I been watching it, but only for the purpose of getting it as is for my collection either as it is or to Customize as a second copy of the Nightbeat that I do have from Class (I improvise on the Door Stripes).

Just wanted to be honest and let you know.

    Thanks.

wait...so people who went to the customizing class arent allowed to sell their evil nightbeats? that seems odd...if you pay to take a class, and get the toy from it, its yours to sell...

Yeah, kinda the way I see it as well. I saw that auction before it got pulled, it WAS one of the custom class base figures still bagged. Still though, having paid for the class, don't know why they can't sell the unused figure, unless they signed a form saying they wouldn't.

The new ones appear to be the final version figure, although I don't know what the difference is. The removed auction was bagged yet still had a completely clear roof, the new ones appear to have the proper blue paint.
