What the hell is this crap? I just saw it on the TV box.

Are they really so hard up that they have to dress some one up in cheesy make up and have him do a half ass lip sink to sell there popcorn? Let the man rest in peace.

It almost looks like they cropped his head off an old commercial and stuck it on that guy. That's just weird.

    Was that computer generated?

Also, I can't see how anyone who actually knows who he is and remembers him when he was alive actually liking this commerical.

    Creepy creepy creepy

That's just freaky right there. And yeah, I agree with NotFastEnuff, it does look like they cropped his head and slapped it on some guy. Seriously, let him rest in piece.

Because he just rolled over in his grave.

I saw that commercial on TV the other day and I kept thinking... wait isn't he dead or something? I didn't know that he passed away but the face... it looks computer generated and it's pretty weird looking.

Yeah I heard about this one Fark, then saw it a day or two ago, then saw it on The Soup. It is a combination of a stand in, make up, and CGI.. I agree that it is all kinds of creepy. I think Orville wants to eat my soul.. I was indifferent to the idea of the commercial.. till I saw it.. It is just damn creepy. Looks like a zombie and not a living person..

Got me a creepy new avatar now...

Uhhh... You realise the ORIGINAL was just an actor, right?

There's no such person as Orville Redenbacher. There never was.

Uhm...Actually, it appears he WAS real.
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Orville_Redenbacher

"His wholesome image and folksy name confused many consumers, some even writing the company to ask if Redenbacher was a real person, and not an actor. He responded to this by appearing on various talk shows, professing his identity."
