Mechafacture made me want this figure. RID Megatron could have been a LOT better if they only gave him two modes. I really want a robot that turns into a fist, so I focused on that. I decided I could throw in a dragon mode, too. Two heads isn't good enough, though. Painted his face purple, really helps.
First we had Star Wars Crossovers, then Marvel Crossovers... now we have The Addams Family Crossovers. I really like this, I like when someone takes a mold and makes it something entirely different. Changing all the appendages to be dragon heads sets this mold apart from the original. Good job.
OK, lemme dust off one of my favorite old a.t.t. quips of all time: "Giga Hand, the date that's ALL foreplay." That out of the way I LOVE what you did here, I agree that by focusing on a more limited menu of modes this already good figure could have been a really spectacular one, and I love that you went for 2 of his fun modes! Very very cool!
i was going to say what the hell is this but one look at the hand form and i instead thought awesome its amazing to look at. just two things i dont like. 1 - the orochi from japan has eight heads and eight tales no wings. 2 - it still looks like megatron it really needs a new colour scheme
Eh, can't please everyone. Could've easily made it 8 heads, but tacking on three more heads that only have function in one mode seemed wasteful, nevermind 8 tails. The wings are important for the hand mode because it gives it more form like Mazinger Z. Just a hand with no wrist doesn't look good, looks like a spider, which I guess I could've done instead. This guy actually doesn't look like any Megatron. The head is rounded and weird and the color scheme doesn't actually match any Megatron. Use some imagination, this is a toy afterall. It's Cybertron Scourge with a pretty hat.
i cant believe youre not getting more love, this is outrageously awesome. what was the original figure used?
It's RID Megatron. I had to cannibalize a second one to make him. I'm regularly surprised by how little love my creations get; but they please my aesthetic sense and that's all that really matters.
Is there a Chance to get closeups And Tipps so u could Figure out how you did it? I have a idea for a diorama
