Orion Pax is officially the dumbest robot on this show.
To be fair, we don't know how the weapon systems work in Prime. Perhaps they aren't that noticeable unless you know they're in there.
*rewatching episode before work* Erm, did anything else think "Sam" when Jack said "No-no-no-no!"?
Also, Paul's gonna get his voicebox torn out.
And I thought I was the only one who noticed this lol
Jack´s composition is 50% Sam Witwicky 50% Peter Parker.
Paul is too dead to care about his voice.
When Orion Pax mentioned, "i actually have weapons", that is so funny
I know, that this thread is a bit out of use and that Megatron is big, while Arcee is small...
But isn't it too much?
I almost see Arcee's face having an expression "How come".
And for images' posting, do I suggest doing it right?
It might be funny, if this image hosting is banned here.
You just got a really weird image stuck in my head after I read that line
Could you describe it?
His defense system activated when he thought he was going to be killed. Perhaps "will" is all one needs to activate these weapons the Cybertronians wield, but fear or a rush of adrenalin (or whatever their equivalent to it is) works the same way.
How would he notice any difference without having a mirror or some sort of reflective surface to take notice? Orion never thought anything was often because he was around folks he knew he reassured him of who he was. It wasn't until doubt was put into his mind did he wonder who he was, as the second show said.
How would he know what an Autobot symbol looked like if he never saw one--were faction symbols around before the war? The name Autobots and Decepticons didn't exist before Orion and Megatronous went before the council, right? If true, for all he knew, it could have been some sort of prion markings.
With the Matrix depleted, how would he have felt it inside his being? This is why he was no longer Optimus Prime, no?
Autobot insignias were around pre-War, as one can be seen on the wall of the gladiator arena during Ratchets flashback in One Shall Rise pt3.
Hmmm, I wonder if it served a different purpose and if it was called something else back then. I'm probably mixing up the novels with the show (but these two are more alike than different), but didn't Orion coin the name Autobots while standing before the council?
Yes, he did. It was in the very speech he gave before they declared him the next candidate for Prime.
Thanks for the confirmation.
This being the case, it makes sense that Orion didn't flip out when he had what is now called the Autobot insignia on him--what the insignia means now didn't have the same meaning when he was branded with it. As the Cybertronias were of a caste in this new continuity, it is quite possible that the Autobot symbol (the Decepticon too) is a symbol of a particular caste. Maybe the lowest one or the one designated to Iacon.
What I don't get was why didn't Megatron just go through the space bridge and get Arcee that way? It's not like if the space bridge portal closes, he's going to trapped there forever. Of course, Arcee and Jack would be chased throughout Cybertron for a while, but still.
He was banking on the idea that she didn't know he was there, that the bridge was still being held by her team-mates. Had she not obeyed her instincts and just sauntered in, he'd have one shotted her, precluding having to chase her around Cybertron or even wasting time fighting a more agile opponent.
This thread just got Necro'edtitaned.
And I can't understand how a whole Autobot team couldn't stop Megatron
I cannot undesrtand, how Arcee was able to blast him away, like he was a ball.
As for the TF: size is everything. You need a world wide catastrophe to kill a creature of Prime's or Megatron's size. I cannot explain their immortality otherwise.
