Well this was my first alternator re-shell, original concept and design commission. The commissioner wanted a transformer that looked like his real car. What a PITA on this guy and a lot of cut finger tips, props go out to those who enjoy re-shelling alternators.
Started off with a alternator Jazz, a 1/24 scale of a Honda Del Sol, and a Gundam Kit.
Painted with Testors Blazing Black, with a touch of Gun-Metal here and there.
    Enjoy

Bummer it doesn't transform, but still a very nice looking paint job- plus a nice alt mode! I love me some Del Sol.

Whoa... it must be a real pain to work on re-shelling an Alternators figure.

Shame it doesn't transform, but it sure does look cool!

For a first attempt, you've done a great job.

The cuts are nice and clean looking....I know cutting doors out can be a PITA, and those alone look great.

Overall, nice job. Had you not mentioned that it didn't tf, I wouldn't have known any better....it looks like it does. :thumb
