Like the title says, whats the origin of your TFW screen name? Mine. Well it all started back in January of 2007. I was obsessing over Tformers.com and Blitzwing. I knew about this site and my brother showed me it. So My name, Blitzwingfan94, come from the love of Blitzwing and the abbreviation of the year I was born.

I'm Canadian and G1 Shockwave is my favourite character. Fairly self-explanatory really.

Although if they let you do name changes, I'd probably change it to LancePantz. That's about as close it a mere mortal can get to immortality.

I wanted a movie robot in my name and Ironhide was the first, so I went with that. the "TF" stands for Transformer. I wanted something related to Prime, Bumblebee or Starscream, I forget why I picked Ironhide out of those 3, though.

I've forgotten. It was someting along the lines ofnot having an actual transformer name, but still something related, that sounded cool too. Chose Vector Sigma from that. Vector appears in most screen namesI use now...

Just the usual reg name which started life as my "suggested" username for AOL about 14years ago when the internet was new to me

Had I thought about it... probably would have chosen something a bit more funky for TFW2005..... :(

Ambushb Bug is an old DC character that is fairly clueless about everything, yet knows he is a comic book character. And one of my favorite obscure DC characters, up there with Odd Man and I...Vampire. I was born in 1974 so that is where that comes from.

I got the name at the end of the BW era right before BM. I loved Rattrap (still my fav character) and at the time I really liked James Bond. Rattrap was the Maximal spy so Rattrap + James Bond Agent 007 = Rattrap007.

I think mine went something like this:

Fleetway back in the 90's published a Sonic the Hedgehog comic with a series of backup strips, one of which had a gun toting sheep named Sol Furic.

In 1998 - 2000, I began writing the original versions of what would one day become Steelknight / Hearts of Fire and Steel. Once my original "neo-futuristic Arthurian Legend" idea de-evolved into an RPG, my next idea involved elemental titans, with names like Terra Firma. I came up with the name Sol Fury for the Latin roots that meant it fit in with Terra and as a partial recollection of the old Sonic comic (things tend to sit in the back of my mind for an age after I read about them).

It was around about this time that Email website Another.com closed its doors and I had to get a Hotmail account. Since Steelknight, my main choice of screennames, was taken there at the time, I went with Sol Fury.

Since then, I've used Sol Fury almost exclusively for every login and web ID that I create.

On a side note, Sol Fury the character got downgraded from god of fire and the sun's anger to a mercenary and then edited out of the story of Steelknight completely. Though the current version is still a work in progress so I might write a version of myself in there somehow. Maybe as some sort of "creator's room"...

The all-powerful machine mind from Legends of Dune - I wanted something that could sound TF-ish, but without obviously being from TF.

Ulta Magnus was during a short period of time a General under Shockwave┬┤s command in DW. General Magnus sounds cool, so, I choose that.
