Not all of you guys may be like me, but I love listening to orchestra music.

This thread is for talking about your favorite composers, groups, types, and individual songs.

    So... I'll start us out:

Two Steps from Hell is probably my favorite group out of who I've heard. They do music for trailers.

I like that old Gran Theft Auto commercial where a car flies across the screen in slo mo, with some orchestra going with it. Was awesome.

The Halo stuff is cool , but there's no chick singing.

That little jackie evancho is amazing

Fellow orchestra music lover here. I never pass up the opportunity to attend performances by my local philharmonic orchestra of my favorite composers' works. Among those whose stuff I fancy are Bach, Debussy, Hadyn, Berlioz, Holst, Hovhaness, Saint-Saëns and Respighi. As for more modern stuff, Bond and the Vitamin String Quartet are not bad; I also really love the orchestral takes on Kitaro's Silk Road and Queen Millennia stuff.
