Just wanted to get some thoughts on this design as I proceed toward the creation of this piece.

It's an amalgamation of the G1 cartoon version, with details from the '84 toy as well as MP Prime. Basically I wanted to capture the very iconic look and proportions from the G1 cartoon version and add in details from the toys.

That's not quite part of the plan just yet....as there is more to this project than meets the eye;)

I will be posting project updates here as I work on this...right now, if all goes well, I should be starting around the weekend.

Looks good. I've used a KO gun to make mine but this looks to be really nice.

I'm guessing you use the one from the dollar store? The prime with inferno arms? Nice little gun, grabbed a couple myself, just won't work with what I have planned though.

I'm guessing big plans mean PM armor.....

I like the gun, but i'm not sure i'm getting an animated vibe from it. to many hard angles and parts that look G1. If you hadnt' mentioned animated, I would have thought you were trying to do a different take on the original or MP gun.

    Randy,

Animated as in original G1 animation models, not "TF Animated" ;)

I edited my original post to better convey the concept.
