A hodge-podge, a mish-mash, a veritable cornucopia of influences went into this design, which is based on a 1982 Peterbilt 362 with extended sleeper.

    The truck:

A few cosmetic changes - rear end is a little thicker, and I split the windshield.

    The robot:

    A quick transformation video:

    Comments and crits are welcome.

    UPDATED 6/24/08:

I spread the legs a little bit, added some plates to drop down from the torso, and thickened the upper arms (as much as I could without them bumping into other parts inside the truck) a little bit. Also added some texture to the robot nook-and-cranies as well as some wear/scratches, especially where the "shell" slides and connects and on his feet. Not sure how well the textures will show. Two new renders:

Notice the thicker waist...looks better...thanks for the suggestion.

Against a cityscape from the movie...just because I wanted too.

Not shabby. Looks like a good blend of G1 Prime and Movie Prime. Me likes.

Even with the extended cab, I say you still did a great job with the bot mode!

He looks really good, but his torso seems a little large for the rest of his body, it's fine if you'd like to keep the truck cab front in tact to look more g1-esque, but then you should beef up his arms and legs and crotch plate to make him look more proportional, but amazing. I haven't learned how to do anything in a modeler that wasn't for drafting at skool yet so good job!

Cryo - thanks for the suggestion. See the updated images for a slight remodel.
