Love it! Though it might be just me, but I think the red truck parts under his window-chest (I'm not sure what those pieces are called) are a little too long as they cover up his grill underneath. Otherwise, that's a very impressive model. Good luck with the project!

Question: is this a flesh-and-blood sculpture? Or is it CGI? I mean it in the most complimentary possible way by saying I can't tell if it's a render or a physical object!

It's probably just the lens distortion. I'll try and match it up with my references. They do look a bit too long. Thanks!

True that! It's been a grueling two months!

Gee.. thanks! It's a render. The background is from a HDRI image I found in my office's archive.

Rhinox007, Attacker_Prime, and Digilaut, thanks for the kind words!

Where do you work? Because judging by these pictures, I think you work at ILM.

    thanks!

I work for an animation studio in Jakarta, Indonesia. I wish ILM would hire me, but I don't think that that's going to be possible with my current skills. But thanks anyway :D

I love it, and I sincerely hope to decide to do something along the lines of what we were discussing in your other thread and making parts for the leader class figure.

Posted an update on the first page. Some of the textures need a little work, some of them are not even done yet (using textures from different parts as a temporary texture). But the modeling is about 90-95% done. I'm pretty happy with it. Comments are welcome as always.

    Cheers.

    SWEET JESUS! :jawdropper:

The great Optimus Prime in beyond unbelievable 3D!

Since you did/done Prime, do you think you are up to the challenge of doing a 3D render of ROTF Megatron?
