    Hi All,

I am new here and not sure if this is the place to go with this but here go's.
I'm a Digital artist currently working on a G1 inspired digital painting of Optimus Prime. Once it is finished i intend to run off a a limited number of prints either on canvas or high quality print paper, measuring approx 24 x 24 inches. So i was wondering might this be a good place to sell the limited number of prints/canvas' that are made and if not could someone point me in the right direction.

the final painting will be a very high quality character study capturing the more cerebral side of Prime's character.

thanks in advance for any advice you can give me.

how about a work-in-progress image? I'd consider buying it, but it'll have to be damn good.

ok here are two work in progress images. please ignore the white patches around his shoulder. the first pic is a very low res sample of the whole image. i have only just started to work on the detail as you can see on the second image of his shoulder. the second image is at full resolution and representative of the detail quality that the full final image will have.

again please bare in mind that this is a work in progress and a long way to go.

Okay, I'm impressed. Thanks for posting those--looks like you're going to get a sick level of detail in there.

My oh my, you've definitely captured Prime's mood of taking a rest from a seemingly neverending war. Looking forward to the final piece.

Cool. You could probably sell some of them here. I might even get one if you do.

Dude! That's a work in progress?!? That puts a lot of finished works to shame.

If you need any help on printing it, I work with a print shop, we can do posters, gloss prints, various sizes etc.

Yeah, I just reread your first post, canvas creations are a little bit beyond our ability here. We're more just color printing or poster stuff.

WOW. You really get the sense of this mighty military leader, tired from the burden of leadership, taking a moment to just let go for a little while. Excellent work!

The only canvas printing option I know of is mpix, and a 20x24" gallery wrap (image is wrapped around a 1.5" stretch frame unfortunately) would be $110. There has to be another option though.
