Transformers Movie Optimus Prime Animation Cel
For the original movie, too? Nice.
Kind of reminds me the Ending Sequence of Transformers (2007).
Hmm in the auction they state that it isn't from any scene that you see in the movie. Maybe test footage or something, but not from the final movie.
This may be one of the auctions to watch since the Hartmans put the G2 Protectobots and Stunticons up for grabs.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't this a cel from the famous, "Megatron must be stopped, no matter the cost" scene? I have a question about cels. Are these literally the transparencies onto which the artists painted the movie? Like, is this THE piece of art that millions of people have seen? Or is this a reproduction of the original
Wow, that's somewhat beyond my price range but that is a damn nice piece to own. Looks like it's attracting a lot of bidders already! I'll keep an eye on this just to see how much it sells for in the end.
Wow. Just looking at that picture makes me want to watch that sequence again.
No matter the cost.

It looks really close to the shots in that scene.
Great piece for cell collectors, and its nice that things like this have survived
Awesome. That scene still gives me chills.
As someone who collects animated cels, that one is gorgeous!!
Looks fake to me. Why does the cel look different from the actual screenshot?
Likely a different keyframe. Remember, every single second of animation uses up 24 different cels.
Beautiful, wish I could afford to bid on it. Got the Botcon to think of.
Prime looks like the real deal, but i'll agree the background is different. This is probably because animations cells don't tend to come with a backdrop, so this was probably added beneath the cell, simply make it look prettier.
I'd love an original movie cell, even if it was just a sharticons ankle! It would still be a piece of TF history. I bought some Original He-Man cells for my bro for christmas, and theres something quite magical about holding something in your hands that millions of people have seen (no matter how briefly!) and loved.
jebus murphy...if i had the cash i would grab that in a heart beat!
who ever gets it ,is a lucky SOB
Man that cell rocks. Probably my favorite part in the whole movie and the one that contained the most emotion.
Does any one know about the collection he talks about in the auction that sold a few years ago?
Separate names with a comma.
