Just spotted this image of a "Villain Auction House" in the upcoming Issue9 Patch for the MMORPG "City of Heroes/Villains", on the Warcry network:

Like many other games, it's full of references to TV and the like. Red Dwarf and Due South are just two of the references I'd found, until I saw this.

Ok, it could just be a Red Truck, but that blue stripe on the trailer is just TOO familiar..

Is that image still up on the Webpage of this game? if it is, then they have more luck than brains.

'cause this is quite an old news

Seeing this, I now hope Blizzard may put a hidden TF reference in WoW.

There are lots of funny references in Wow, from star trek, the matrix, Ghostbusters, and so on.

It's amazing how often a red cab over engine semi shows up pulling a grey trailer with a blue stripe. I noticed some Grim and Mandy game my little brother was playing had it in a stage.

Someone posted that screen a while back, but I still haven't seen any info on exactly what that scene is/how the players will be able to interact with it. Still funny.

Warcraft 3 Demon Hunter: "Bah weep granagh bah weep ni ni bong. It's a universal greeting." - one of his "hidden" sayings.

That, and one of the UMS maps that come with the game is a Gauntlet-style minigame where the selectable characters are all 80's cartoon homages in name, including "Megotron" and "Optimus Primo".

I guess it's like a shop, I've read it's the black market in the game. He's not gonna transform.

Well, he has torched forests before, if his trailers are to be believed. Selling guns to villians isnt too much of a stretch.

Except for it's not. It's nods from programmers and modelers that probably have a G1 Prime in their office.
