Saw this on Tformers.com (damn they got some news today!). Anyways, here is a link to a site where you can download all ready made model of a transforming Optimus Prime (in correct colors too!) into your Lego Digital Designer (if you already have it installed). With digital Designer, you can make models on the computer and then buy then direct from LEGO!

The price comes out to USD $44.04 + S/H. for 422 parts.

Purchasing info, free instructions, and photos of the model are available here: http://pages.cthome.net/pdufilie/lego_optimus_prime.html

It's a great base model to expand from. I'm gonna add more details to mine and make as accurate a Prime as I can.

The Japanese one was not bad, but the head and hands looked terrible in my opinion.

At least this one you can edit to your liking.

They shouldn't, as it's not an official LEGO product. You just make the model and they ship you the peices.

Yeah, but wasn't the Japanese building-block Prime like $70.00? At least this one is $40.00 and you can change anything you don't like about it before you actually buy it. Heck, I could give him a matrix to fit in his chest if I wanted to (I've already found a way to do this).
