I'm calling this the "Optimus Prime Forever" custom figure unless I come up with something better.
The goal was a plan I had as soon as I saw this was coming out. Make him the Prime anyone recognizes due to elements from almost every popular Optimus.
He has the colors and basic robot mode look of G1 and most other incarnations, the long front semi mode like the movies, armada, and G2 Prime, some flames like in the movie but keeping the Laser Rod colors there, and the sword luckily already had a movie feel to it.
Hopefully, no matter what generation of Transformers you grew up loving, you would instantly know who this fella is.
    Long live Floptimus Slime!

I did about the same thing years ago to my G2 Laser Rod Prime. It was one of the first customs I ever dun. Pic of that attached too for shiggles.

Oh and forgive me for the still-wet paint on the truck door. Had to add an extra layer of red after barely seeing the blue in the first pic I took.

I am glad you painted the feet the same color as the lower legs. I think this works much better on the figure.

I'd like to see the hood and cab not be so stark in color transition, as that's one of my only gripes with this toy as-is to begin with. Otherwise, I think this is some great work, and I really like the aim of everything. That rifle rocks as well.

Also, that G2 Prime repaint is aces :thumb

I am still mind blown that no-one has come out and done the so-called 'inevitable' Scourge repaint! At this rate I'll have to buy a G2 Prime and do it myself! XD

I don't know if it would fit or not, but the head from BW10th Optimus Primal would be a great addition, because it has that open-mouth look, to include a bit of Movie/Animated Optimus...

The black on the cab nose still throws me off, but that is a much more cohesive pallete than before.

Thanks guys! I actually love this head sculpt. Kind of WFC meets Gundam.

I have another laser Prime and the original RID Scourge for reference for making Scourge next. I just know someone else will post an ace job of one before I get done though. :)

BTW the gun was made from an Energon Arcee gun and a random filed down missile.

I bought two of this mold. One to make scourge, which I did a while ago, and an extra without any real purpose that remained unopened for a while. I've been staring at it, and the color scheme is really beginning to bug me. Funny because I've never had a figure do that before. Many figures have grown on me, but I've never grown to dislike a figure/color scheme after originally liking it.

If you don't mind, I'm going to copy this idea. I'll probably do full red though. The black with red flames just doesn't match for me.
