    Hey folks,

This is my first time posting here....so I hope this is the place to display my creation.

It's for my son's birthday tomorrow. All the frosting work I did by hand, there isn't a spot of fondant anywhere on the cake.

The windows were made by my wife, and is basically just sugar made into "glass candy."

The autobot symbol is a piss poor job, but hey...it's frosting

The wheels are chocolate donuts, and the lights are yellow M&Ms. The grill is a hershey bar wrapped in tin foil, and the silver headlights are 2 large M&Ms wrapped in tinfoil as well. The gas tanks and thicker part of the smoke stacks are cake rolls wrapped in tin foil.

    Fun as hell to make!

    Your feedback is appreciated :)

man just looking at that tin foil on something edible makes my teeth scream. But good job anyway, for the truck cab is that one long cake cut in half and stuck on top of each other? See pic for illustration:

The cab is actually 4 pieces of 1" cake cut to some unspecified dimension.

2 pieces of the same size cake as the bottom would probably have sufficed.

    Awesome! :thumb

Although, if I was the recipient of that cake I wouldn't want to eat it and ruin all the hard work that went into it.
