Nice review. I admire the engineering that went into this one, although the transformation does look a little more involved than I would expect in a deluxe figure.

It is involved and maybe a bit too much for a deluxe figure. But it really is enjoyable and nice to have. A good challenge every now and then is a good thing :)  Thanks for the compliment

Can't justify the price for a deluxe. If it was around $40ish, maybe. But it can't be more.

Transformation oddly reminds me of TF1 Dreadwing.

AWWW thanku for this review , ive been waiting soo long and it didnt dissapoint :)

its a shame because im getting stress marks on the fake doors because of rotating the bar :(  and im not sure how else to rotate it without damaging it further as the bar on mine is really tight. i say this because you mentioned it in your review so you getting problems, is there anything you reccomend doing to prevent damaging it ?

I find it helps to push down on both door pieces at the same time. I've transform my Leadfoot alot and haven't seen any stress marks appear.

Great review Optibotimus, I had similar thoughts the first time I saw Leadfoot's transformation.

Those limbs are too gangly for me. His legs should be shorter. And that gut needs some work. But I can respect that it's weaponized and has that glorious silver paint. But the lack of Reprolables makes this unappealing to me.

Also, if you heavily modify HA Leadfoot, you can get a good beer gut. It just involves unpegging a bunch of stuff and angling everything down.
