hey gang, Todd here with yet another customs thread. This time around, I bring you Part 1 of a 3-part commission for the one and only GRAND_MAXIMUS! (an apologises for taking too long man, school and whatnot, and I was still learning how to do a reshell XD;;; ). He asked me to make 3 Omnibot reshells, and I shall start with the thread for Overdrive.

He is made using the Alternators Windcharger and a bosy kit for his G1 body, the Ferrari 308GTR (close enough to the BB Diablo). I shall update this thread, but this commission will take a bit....as I mentioned in the brackets, this is a very steep learning curb for me...I'm figuring things out as I go.

Apparently one trick to doing reshells is to make sure that you have trimmed away enough plastic so that the new car shell fits perfectly over the base car mode before you cut anything apart on the model shell. That ensures that there will be no gaps in alt. mode in the end after you put everything back together. Hopefully you did this and didn't mention it, otherwise.....uh... good luck!  You'll be fine. :thumb  Your an awesome kitbasher so I know if you run into any trouble you'll be able to figure out something. At least what I said might be able to help you for the other two.:D  Lookin good so far! :thumb  Sorry!:banghead:

Did you cut up the car shell after sizing it to fit the WC? If not, you may have some problems down the road, as it's generally best to place the shell on and then make your cuts.

I'm really anxious to see how these turn out! :thumb
