    No spoilers, just a quickie answer please:

    Is the "Grandpa Witwicky/Megatron scene" in the movie at the start?

    The reason I ask is that nobody's mentioned it yet, and a preview screening (from a few months ago) said it wasn't present.

    Sorry for starting a new thread but I thought this question might get lost in the mix if I asked it in one of the many already exisiting movie topics.

    It's in the movie, but not at the start. Quite well done, from an editing standpoint, in my opinion.

    Oh, good. Thanks for that. I was worried it had hit the cutting room floor as (to me) it's quite an important moment. Glad to hear it's still there (I guess the comic adaptation is a little out of date by placing it at the start!)

    Its cut into about 3 segments placed at points upon mentioning what happened to his grandpa

    Kinda like flashbacks
