How's the plastic quality of the figure? Would you guys say the plastic is "MP quality"?

So we have a figure that fixes the problems I had with the Titans Galvy, and makes it big enough to hang out with the new leader Rodimus. I'm sold. Wonder what else they have in the pipeline

for me, this guy is ticking all the boxes. I mean, how many of us have bought add ons for the TR Galvatron to get that G1 look. Now we don't really have to mess around with customising them anymore and get something that looks very close the G1 Cartoon character. Open and Play have done us all proud I would say!

Why is it no one can put size comparisons in the video reviews? There are tons of us that want to see how this compairs to leader sized figures, but all they compare it to are Masterpiece and the original figure. LAME....

That cannon mode is a mess and I think they could have made the robot mode look a little more like Galvatron.

His chest plate jets out in a triangle shape, it should be straight across, and it lacks the long rectangle cutout that's colored red. Also, his hip covers are all wrong too. There's really no reason to mess it up, doing it right wouldn't effect the transformation.

Yeah, I'm a huge fan of Galvatron and I think it looks great. Galvatron always had a wonky alt mode, so this is perfectly fine. But with all the mods, new parts and resculpted details, this is a MASSIVE improvement over the figure it was taken from.

Man I'm offline for a few days and I miss all the puns :(

    Wheelie - Big Little?

P.S. So this guy is actually Voyager sized? Or whatever it's called - ie a replacement for the TR Galvatron? That's actually not a bad pitch, I know a lot of people liked the TR Galvy but personally I chucked mine in a closet so I wouldn't have to look at him anymore...

Maybe you notice these differences because you're a bigger Galvy fan than I. Personally, just going by memory I think this figure is already fairly accurate. At least I don't see anything that really bothers me.

I picked him up at TFCon and after having him for a few days, I would say the plastic quality is not up to par with some of the upper tier third party MP releases, or Takara's MP line. That isn't to attack the figure because I do think it is a massive step up from the Titans Return Galvatron. There is noticeably fewer hollow areas, sculpt improvements galore, and great ratchets. But the plastic itself is fairly light.

I've heard people say it's not quite MP, but it's better than Hasbro. Especially CW. (TR stepped up its game, but wasn't leaps and bounds better than CW in terms of plastic quality.)

This will be my Galvatron. Especially my positive experience with their Big Spring.

The plastic quality is the one reason I didn't pick him up at TFCon. He felt sturdy and much better than the TR version, but he'd just end up being a placeholder for me. At $50, I would probably pick him up over the other 3P versions if I was in the market for an MP Galvatron.

I think I would be fine with this figure as my MP Galvatron, as I dont have a problem with KOs or mixing in combiner wars bots. So a dirt cheap MP Galvatron I am happy to take!

I hope this available for purchase or preorder somewhere soon!
