Well, after little cuts and stuff on fingers and what not, I finally really hurt myself. As I was cutting some plastic with my fresh blade, I slipped with tooooooooo much pressure and cut into my thigh right above my knee. The blade went in about 1 - 1 1/2 inche and cut me about an inch wide. It feels as though it hit my ligament because I it hurts when I stand on my knee. Blood was just flowing onto my shoe and the floor.

    OWWWWW.

kINDA FUNNY THOUGH. I amm all taped up!!!!!! Maybe put some super glue on it.

I need to use my table more and pay attention!!!

    Any body else got some?

Sorry... had to do it. =) haha

Seriously, though. I'm assuming you didn't tear into anything important or you went to the doctors to get checked out. Great way to end 2008 ... hope your new year gets better!

pics would help, but if you cut where I think you did then go to the hospital and tell them what happened. You may have cut the muscle/ ligament that holds your knee cap.

I'm very careful, and the kitbashing gods have smiled on me often, but aside from a bruised ego when my plans go down the crapper this is the only really gory accident. Even that wasn't nearly as bad as your knee sounds! SEE A DOCTOR!:puke:

Not to mention the possibility of tetanus.
Anything around the knee is important, so a doctor visit should be considered.

Personally, I can't stand hospitals. Once cut the side of my leg from the knee to the back of the leg with a machete, down to the bone. Wrapped it myself and continued with the yard work, blood pouring down into my boot. Gads, that was stupid.

Man, that looks pretty bad Encline....maybe you should get it checked out....might need some stitches.

    BUT!....

Before you do that....take a little ball, paint it like an eye, and place it just inside the wound and take some pics of it....that would surely freak some people out!!

Okay, you're grounded! :lol  Plastic safety scissors only, for a week! :lol  Seriously, I doubt you need stitches, but do keep that clean and covered.

That is, unless you're a Bad MoFo like me, then pour salt in it!:thumb :D

You are one of the last people I'd expect to see such a :noob  maneuver from!

No more watching tv while putting pressure on a piece of plastic while holding it in the air and not on the table.

I'd HIGHLY recommend you getting that checked out professionally at a hospital. Even if they do little to nothing at all, you've covered all of your bases. With things like this, I always advise erring on the safe side.

Radicons nor TFW2005.com assume any responsibilities for this injury or any other injuries that occur as the result from a kitbashing project by a Radicon. All Radicons assume full personal responsibilities for all liabilities generated by any attempt of a project. This includes projects that do not involve any injury and result in epic win. Should epic win occur, post a new thread in the appropriate forum. If you are reading this, then you would fully appreciate the effort from this Radicon Staff member typing this while recovering from an injury himself. This injury was not the result of a kitbash or other customs Transformer project, as detailed in the thread generated in Customs General Discussion.
