I'm considering how to achieve the same thing. Those shoulders are just really stiff and awkward. I'm thinking the best place to add articulation would be under the wheel... add a hinge that allows the arms to spread more, and pop the wheel on top so it moves as the arm stretches out.

Alternately, you could put the joint near the top, as it is on the Bendy deluxe version... but that creates a slightly awkward shoulder placement, and would probably require more invasive cutting.

As for the legs, I've found that with the crotch split as I have it in my version, the legs actually feel pretty flexible, and cool poses become more feasible.

Actually, my thought was to take a razor saw to the section right above the elbow, and reattach with a joint. My main concern is whetther or not he can carry the weight during combination with his Combaticon brethren.

I just may have to dig out my Superpants Prime, but for something else, I already have my own Onslaught base mold that I like.

Really nice work here. Any shots of the alt-mode?

:lol  Indeed!! Guys, SMOG was the first one to com up with this idea, about a year ago. Mine has some significant differences (Hell, I would say that his LOOKS BETTER) but as far as the orginator of the idea, that was all SMOG. I didn't remeber his bash when I started, but I have to give him his props now that I look back on his idea.

    ALL BOW TO SMOG!!!

I have never asked before, but did you build him to combine? And again, where the heck did you get that head from???

Yeah, he was going to combine. I'd figured most of it out, though I hadn't done any of the "dirty" work yet. I think I even posted some mock-ups of what I wanted Bruticus to look like.

    Here it is.

The original plan was to integrate the head into his chest cavity (where the Superpants Prime combo head is), so it would fold out, but I'm not sure if that will work anymore since I'm likely going to be using the larger Bruticus head I got from Ptitvite.

If I remember correctly the Onslaught head is from Sculpt-bot, and was intended to be an Alt-sized Battlecharger head. I really like it for Onslaught though...
