Just use Shoppertron. Click on the All Stores link at left hand side to get lots of online stores.

I'm more retail-oriented nowadays, but a lot of it depends on what you're looking to buy. New stuff, I'd go with Greenshadow's recommendations.

Single, high-ticket import items, I'd go with Hooby Link Japan at www.hlj.com.

Vintage stuff, eBay or the Junkion here are probably your best bets.

I find that Shoppertron doesn't update their info a lot. Last time I was on there, they had like the first wave of the movie toys as new preorders...

If you're looking for loose G1s check out http://www.transformerland.com - they update every few days

Their prices are a bit high sometimes but the grading and descriptions are dead on. Only downfall is they have "stock" photos (you can request actual ones though). You can also negotiate different prices and they have a decent up-and-coming database of all G1 toys with their individual parts.

Use www.bigbadtoystore.com . They do jack their prices up on certain items, but you can also find some bargains and they do nice sales. The service is top notch.

I can only say good things about BBTS... I like HLJ, too, but they don't often respond to my emails when I have questions, which I often have about stuff I'd like to buy.

There are a lot of dodgy places out there, though, so please be careful.

    I can fully recommended BBTS.

I used them for the first time just recently and my items arrived in the UK quickly, very well packaged and in perfect shape.

One thing that stood out for me was the packaging. Having bought some rare items from sellers on eBay only to find that my lovely had to find 'bot had been squished in the pathetic jiffy bag it was sent in, BBTS proved just how right some companies can get it by packaging my 'bots in a double corugated box which was large enough for the figures and plenty of packaging.

They also wrapped it well enough to withstand the fumblings of the british postie and clearly marked it in several places as being fragile. Excellent service from a company which has guarenteed repeated custom from myself.

Here are my favorites, Bigbadtoystore.com, Tfsource.com, Digital-Toys.com, Kicks-hooby.com, Hasbrotoyshop.com, Walmart.com, TRU.com and KB.com. I have used them all. I have also use jrs-toyworld.com but off ebay not his store. I also have had great experiences with transformerland.com!

    Ebay:
I'd recommend checking out some of the TFW sponsors (TFSource, AHQ, BBTS, Tempting Toys, and A3U), since supporting them also supports the site! Click on the links on the left side of your screen to visit them. I've purchased from all of them (BBTS the most) and had terrific experiences every time.

You'll find that getting away from eBay for your TF needs is quite liberating.

Well if I was you I wouldn't use BBTS unless you feel like paying more for a figure you could get cheaper just about anywhere else, I've dealt with them a few times, and while they're fine to deal with, but thats also assuming you don't mind paying more than you have to. From what I've seen, TFsource usually has the best prices and there pretty decent to deal with, but for older G1 stuff, I'd say either the junkion exchange boards or ebay are your best bet.
