It was a nice show...Lashley retained against EC3...Aron Rex vs Galloway didn't happen because Drew is injured...so Eddie Edwards took the loss...Hardys' vs Decay was pretty good with Jeff ofcourse doing Jeff things...Moose got a special entrance involving a local high school football state championship team...Cody & Brandi debuted and had an altercation with MKB & The Miracle...Gail went over MKB...

So, what's your take on the Pro Wrestling with rounds plus points like Boxing/MMA?

BTW: DJZ is the X-division champ, and TJP is the Cruiserweight champ. Go Filipinos!

They are just trying to try something different...trying to be more different...spice it up...mix it up...if used right ...like any other belt in wrestling it could be great...I like the differences in the companies...even if miniscule...

From what I read, nothing of note happened. I just think it's funny that almost every other major wrestling event from WWE, NXT, CWC, LU, ROH, etc elicits discussion, while TNA results in :tumbleweed:
Probably an indication of where TNA sits right now (on life support)

    Congrats Sasha!

All you really need to watch from raw was that Women's championship match.

The rest was so bad it's not even worth mentioning....

Except for maybe that opening with reigns and lana that managed to sink to new levels of disinterest.
And the rollins slow turn that I guess is happening?

    I don't even know.

Roll onto the flagship show tonight :D

It doesn't help that RAW airs between 1am-4am for me.... the fact the only good matches & segments happen late on makes it really tricky to stay awake for them. Almost turned off before the main event as I expected yet another badly executed distraction by Dana to let Charlotte keep the title. hopefully now, Charlotte will slip back and we'll get a Sasha/Bayley feud for a while

My initial plan was to watch the opening of Raw and then fast forward through the commercials on Gotham. But I turned it off as soon as I saw Reigns with a microphone. (I'd rather sit through commercials for cars, fast food, and other crap I have no intent on purchasing.) I tuned in again later in time to see the Cruiserweight title match (can't say that I agree that swapping out champions is a good idea for a title that's only three weeks old), and caught the announcement that Sasha/Charlotte was the main event then tuned in again just in time to see the beginning of that match. (WTF with going right to commercial when the bell rings?!) I'm glad to hear I didn't miss anything. At this point, my feelings towards Raw are the same that I have towards TNA. If I hear about a good segment or match I'll look it up online, otherwise it's just a waste of my time.

I am usually playing rocket league or something when I have it on :lol  Don't worry I'm not losing any sleep over raw, I never give it my full attention.
I can take a hit for the team and post any interesting segments without letting my brain go to mush.

Besides, if Roman is giving a promo in the middle of a forest and nobody is there to listen to him, does he even make a sound?
The answer is no, but lana still has a nice rack.

I haven't watched my RAW recording yet, but.....Emmalina? WTF?
She didn't even get a chance to try to succeed with her previous character before she got injured, why change it again?

So what happened in Raw last night? I couldn't watch it because we're bracing for a cat 4 hurricane.

It looked like a softcore porn or late night sex line ad. Nothing even related to wrestling :lol

I assure you your hurricane prep was better than the show. May want to check out charlotte v sasha womens champion match but that's about the only thing of value there.

I stopped trying to talk TNA...it doesn't work...unless on a TNA specific board...too much hate, anger, misunderstanding, judgement, etc...it is like folks can't see past Dixies follies...can't see the performers busting their ass...

I can't seem to get any reaction for LU around here so your list is a little off. It blows my mind, nearly every complaint I see leveled against WWE online is answered with Lucha Underground in spades. People complain about blood, well LU has it! People say "rasslin needs to be more edgy" well LU has killed no less than 4 charachters on screen, how much more "edgy" do you want? People want to "#givewomenachance" well the women work equally with the men, how bloody much more do you want? I know I complain about the horrid lack of meaningful feuds and storytelling in WWE and LU has it covered, and more, kayfabe is alive and well, and growing. People complain, rightly, about how shitty the commentary is in WWE, Stryker and Vampiro actually tell what's going on, hardly push silly social media and actually know move names. Dario is a heel authority figure that actually takes "best for business" and makes it work, he's on screen just enough to make his presence felt, not not so much to be cumbersome unlike Stephanie "ALL CAMERAS ON ME!" McMahon..

I haven't watched WWE in two weeks and have no plan to watch tonight either, NCIS and Bull are on.

Spirit Squad, something I never liked and hoped to NEVER see again. (Shudders violently)

Thanks loads Miz. I hope Dolph murders you at No Mercy for that!

Thank you SDL for bringing back the magic of a go home show. That was a thing of beauty, I was laughing my ass off the entire two hours. Tonights show sums up why I started watching wrestling again in my mid 30s.

Well I'll be damned if SDL didn't have me cheering by the end. It's been a while since I've been looking forward to a PPV this much. Even with Super Skittles involved. Bravo Smackdown for telling us stories we care about.

    HAHAHA, the frickin' Spirit Squad!
Only 2 of them, unfortunately (not including Nicky/Dolph).

I'm honestly surprised they brought back Kenny Dykstra, even for one appearance, considering the things he said about WWE back when he was released. I missed who the other SS guy was...Mikey, maybe?

The "Success of a Failure" video was hilarious.

Oh, and I think we know what Natalya will be asking for at Christmastime :D
    [SPLINTER/] I made a funny! [/SPLINTER]

Yes, it was Mikey. The 5 Spirit Squad members were Kenny (Team leader), Mikey, Nicky (Dolph), Johnny, and Mitch. (Basically WWE's version of the Ginyu Force)

Appropriately enough, DX is being featured currently on the WWE Network and of course one of their most memorable feuds was against Spirit Squad back in 2006. Remember? :lolol
