    heh. i used a lot of shortcuts in the colors on this really

    i color dropped all the color values for the flats, shadows, and highlights from another pic i'd done

    the stars are all a stock starfield i made

    the textures layed over the top are the same textures i placed over a few other pics of mine

    and the grid is something i quickly made a pattern of and utilized some edit>transform>distort fiddlings

    the part that took the most time were the strips of purple glowies. I had to use the magic wand to hand select all of that


    but yeah. just re-used a lot of elements which made it go by a lot faster than if i had to hand-make it all "from scratch"

    im amazed man. Heck i never thought about building stock back grounds (makes me wish i had Adobe again)

    Awesome work, sir. And it feels so... natural, too. It looks a lot like it was coloured with markers and pastels, which is incredible for such a quick job. :thumb
