I did this last year, but I didn't realize I never posted it up on here.

Yeah, the panel work's a bit atrocious because I actually just did a bunch of sketches with Cannonball and Garyuun (Galle-on) from Web Diver over a rainy afternoon, then decided I could stick black frames on it and make it work. Very murky and the text wanders due to me just sticking whatever in there to get something vaguely cohesive.

Heh, my style on these is basically "quick 'n' lazy", since I can do shaded pencil work a whole heck of a lot faster than precise inked lineart. Glad to see people like it, though!

There's not enough of this style out there, which is more expressive and impressionistic than mechanical. (granted, i love the mechanical, but i would love a frank-miller drawn story....)

    This rocks!!

I've always had a soft spot for un-inked pencil. It looks great, and especially on Transformers... too many people obsess about getting all the details and neat little lines in before laying down a heavy-handed Dreamwave-style computer colouring job.

For my part, I think this looks great. I'd love to read a TF comic done in this style... it would be the freshest thing art-wise to come out in Transformers in a good long time.

Heh... Galleon/Gairyon, eh? I thought that silhouette looked familiar. :)

I really like this style...just enough attention on the bots without rediculous amounts of BG arts. Just enough detail. And it adds a nice, noirish gritty atmoshpere. Top notch.
