Yes, but there are only so many "this guy doesn't have elbows" scenarios... people have been using non-physical challenges which seems to be ok as long as they make it clear that it's non-physical.

More specifically: BD, despite being in the show, was not given a mass-release toy. The others were, despite not being in the show.

 

But maybe there's should be some limits to a certain point.

Yes, I think "things that would still be true if you never existed" is a good heuristic. This is still a newish game, so we've not yet seen enough clearly bad challenges to lay down explicit rules that perfectly balance all of the competing desires here. Definitely need to keep an eye out and have discussions as things develop.

 

As we're in the 'toy discussion' category, I think it should remain on toys.
Anything up to the mould history, the name of the plastic color etc.. But still related to the toy.

If the question can be done without the toys (with drawings, anime screenshots, or just by listing the character names) then it's probably not a good question. Again, just my opinion.

I thought the rule just had to do with specific fiction? Like " Toy #1 got beat up once, but Toy #4 didn't" type scenarios. If I misunderstood, then that's my me. My bad.

 

"Breakdown was the only one in an Aligned show" is exactly a reference to a specific fiction completely independent of any of the toys shown.

Not a major problem, you gave enough clues to figure it out ... but probably better to avoid challenges having nothing to do with the toys pictured going forward.
