Btw, how good is this guy REALLY? I was debating either getting either the 70's Camero Bumblebee or Movie Landmine. Which one should I definately get?

Word, Landmine is the shit. No doubt about it.
I wish you coulda seen Lance's photoshoot of Mirage. Honestly, PM for a link if you're even passingly interested.

I agree with your specific points about the figure, but he can be made to be awesome.

Agreed. He's OK, but definitely not the best Movie Deluxe. My vote goes to CC BB.

At the $10 price point, I'm curious about what figures you think are better? I probably have all the molds out there since BW, and not many come close to it. You make some valid points, but if we're talking about articulation, few, if any, measure up.

Here's a picture of my Landmine on my desk. I apologize for the quality, it was taken with my AT&T8525 camera phone.

Landmine's face is so unusual for an Autobot. It's not really recognizable as being human-inspired.

Yes i too have movie Landmine.

I think he's ok but the only thing that prevents me from liking him 100% is the head just keeps popping off the balljoint (a little nail polish or super glue might help).

After reading thru this thread & looking at all the awesome pics taken of him...hmm i might just change my mind.

But movi BB is still the best. bar none.

Landmine is a giant alien robot. He's not human-inspired.

I got mine over a week ago. I really like it. Though the transformation is a bit easy. (stockade is even easier)

I have some minor problems with it. One being that the panels on the back of the car pop off almost every time you try to automorph what appears to be a allspark power vent on the truck bed. The head pops off alot to. which reminds me of movie payload and his "accessories".

But really its a great figure. like a mini alternator since it has seats, a windshield, propane cylinders, and a flip up engine access panel that kind of treats landmines odd noggin like a engine block.

    That's useing your head landmine.

Right. That's why he has humanoid limbs and proportions and his face looks like an earthen catcher's mask. And why Movie Optimus has lips and a nose.

Because they are in no way human-inspired.

    coughcough... ahem

You know the best Movie figures are the Characters that weren't in the movie.

I am inclined to agree with this. I think Concept BB is the only Movie deluxe that comes close to be being as good as some of the subsequent designs.

Though I'll confess that Swindle and Dreadwing aren't exactly brilliant, so it's not 100% awesome, unfortunately.
