WRECKAGE!!!.....I just picked him up at Kohls yesterday and he is awesome. I'd definitely like to see some repaints done with this figure.

Maybe a desert camo repaint or an old fashioned army-green camo repaint.

What do you think of this figure and the idea of Wreckage repaints?

I agree. He is the best movie figure overall in my opinion. Someone did some awesome customs of him, but I don't remember where I saw that.

My only complaint is that he doesn't lock tight in bot mode as whenever you move his arm he starts to transform entirely.

    Otherwise, he rocks

That's part of the appeal, for me. At first he's all "bleah, ho-hum, I got a lot of tires eh" but then he transforms and it's KNIFE TIME BABY.

If Wreckage doesn't sell, why would a Wreckage repaint sell?

Meh. Has too much of an Energon aesthetic to qualify as a movie toy to me.

When there's no other toys on the shelves, anything sells. Wreckage has been just as scare lately as any other normal (read: not G1 Jazz) deluxe, at least in my experience.

And I echo the sentiments. I'm still mulling over whether he's my favorite, but he's certainly up there.

His weapon's versatility never ceases to amaze.

Well he's technically more of a movie bot then all other non-movie bots outside of Arcee. Wouldn't surprise me if he showed up in TF 2.

I think my favorite part of his swords isn't that they flip out or that they combine, but that while folded up they have a molded gun barrel sticking out the front. Which are usable in both modes. Again, the only thing I dislike about this guy is his lack of a proper locking mechanism.

He's awesome because of the lack of movie aesthetics.

Definitely agree about that last sentiment.

In my opinion, with a slight amount of retooling, I think Wreckage would make a really rockin' Action Master Rollout, only this time, he actually transforms...ooh. Mentioned this a few times on line at Botcon this year, but not many seem too interested in exploring G1 characters who had little presence in the line at all, not to mention playability.

Still, someone here might be able to give it a shot if I never get around to it...

Yeah, I freaking love Wreckage. I like Bonecrusher and maybe '08 Bumblebee better, but he's definitely up there. I just wish his chest locked into place in robot mode.
