So, I got off work early today and decided to head to the toy store downtown just to see what they got...

...and I found some truly ancient stuff in there - they had action figures from Jurassic Park: Lost World and frikkin' Doomtrooper cards - I haven't seen those since the late 90's! And it wasn't just one or two items, they had like two whole shelves full of this stuff, altho of varying age; the 2002 He-Man series figures are pretty old too but not as ancient as the other ones. I kind of regret not picking up the vanilla He-Man tho...

I did pick up three Doomtrooper booster packs, some Digimon figures from series 2 and 3 and Myst V - pretty much all of those were 2 euros except the booster packs which were three for one euro.

I'm obliged to ask what TLW figures they had. There are some rare late-series ones, and you never know...

    What toy store was this?!?!

The Lost World: Jurassic Park, Digimon, He-Man! I'M INTERESTED!

Seriously, if you can go back and report on what they have then that would be GREAT.

Sometimes they don't find this stuff until they reorganize the store. Things getting lost deep under the aisles for awhile.

We'll probably see ROTF toys pop up forever in random spots.

My Walmart still has 3 Scorpion King Balthazar figures. They've never clearanced them. They just shuffle them to a new random (incorrect) peg with each remod.

Update: The Lost World figures appear to be gone. The vanilla 2003 He-Man figures of He-Man and Man-At-Arms are still there tho.

They still have that stupid Maskmobile from The Mask cartoon (assuming the bloody thing ever even showed up in it, you can never tell with merchandise) and some Flintstones figures based on the live action movie.

I spotted some oldschool Ninja Turtles toys too - considering all the old stuff they have for sale (I spotted an accessory - a four-player connector hub - for the original Game Boy there today), and the lack of any sort of sticker implying they were reissues, I did briefly consider the fact that they had some really old stuff in storage, but nah, the 2008 copyright on the packaging gave them away...picked up all four, they don't come with DVDs either unlike the US reissues.

Oh, and I snatched up that Cybertron Supreme Starscream that was sitting there, too.

My Walmart has had the same 6" Titanium Bossk forever, I dont think it's even on clearance... and for those that know the WWE, my K-Mart has had a Lita bobble head doll for as long as I've been going there. I still question the marketing genius that decided to make a bobble head doll out of the girl that broke her neck.

one of my local Kmarts had a Sigma Six duke on the pegs the other day. i walked away in shame, because I foolishly sold my almost complete sigma six collection for literally like 20 dollars years ago. easily one of the worst mistakes ive made.

What do they have for the Digimon figures? Do they have any GameBoy color or GameBoy Advance stuff?

Where they heck is this place located? It's like a time capsule.

Bah. Stop on by my Wal-Mart. Booster boxes of the old Harry Potter card game going for $10 still. Game Boy Printer paper going for 10 cents a roll and STILL not selling.

I remember going into a Kaybee outlet at a shopping center I had a job interview at a couple years back and finding SKELETON WARRIORS.

I'm still kicking myself for not bringing money that day.

I'd be thrilled to walk into a store and find Lost World figures.

Yeah well...the reason I was kind of ambivalent towards the Lost World figures was, well, when you have merchandise for a movie about dinosaurs, who cares about the human figures? :p

If they were the later wave of Human figures then you should really, really care. That shit is rare. Nick Van Owen w/the camera, Sarah Harding, AJ, and Peter Ludlow are not easy to come by.
