Agreed. This toy is going to see continued interest as mp Streaker draws nearer, it'd be best if prospective buyers didn't see this thread with so much arguing, especially as I made a point of saying how supportive this thread can be in my article.

Feel free to ask about any individual fix. Many of us have done these on more than one copy of Spinout.

There you go, another one joins the fray. I've been trying to explain the Spinout effect, both in person, on video and more recently via the written word but I still feel I don't communicate all too well why Spinout is so endearing.

Yes he looks amazing and that's often what I point to as the main draw but I also think the nature of this thread, following Omni through the process and even though they didn't stick the landing finally getting the release, that all means something, maybe something a little intangible but something nonetheless.

This will look like a repost, but I enjoyed receiving something less than perfect and figuring out and implementing the fixes to bring my figures up to MP-level of satisfaction. That aspect of this hobby is not for everyone. But I'm happy to have been able to get my aesthetic choice "up to snuff." The simplicity of the engineering and overall design look has me looking forward to Omnigonix' (the designer) next effort. IMO, Spinout's aesthetics more closely match MP-12 than other options. I've got MP-39 on pre-order, but I don't anticipate either of my Spinouts will be going anywhere.

To those joining us, welcome to the club, but be prepared, there are a lot of opinionated posters who will tell you how stupid you are and how awful Spinout is. Though most of them now seem to be defending their BC purchase against MP-39. Since Spinout looks totally different, we don't really have to worry about being told how Takara did everything better. I guess I'd be sad if Takara had made a better Spinout. Nah, no I wouldn't.:)

Received my Martolabels the other day...WOW...what else can I say?!?

If you like Spinout you'll absolutely love these decals.

Just picked up another copy of Spinout today...looks like I'll be hitting up Mart06 again soon.

Sky Guardian was the other Jetfire yeah? The one with no thumbs and super hollow parts?

I haven't picked up any labels for my Spinout yet, mostly because I never get any sort of labels, not really a fan of them, but there are a few from the set that really make Spinout pop like the black trim for alt mode........

Just wanted to add that I think I got lucky with the one I got. I don't need to do the chest fix as it actually holds together well. I can even shake him around and he won't come undone!

He does have a slight black chip right on his chest (roof of the car) showing through the yellow. It's unfortunate but hearing all the stories I think I'm happy with the rest not being a floppy mess. Knees and hips are also fairly good. One arm is a bit loose but I'll future it up. It does hold in some positions. Paint is also mismatched on the two seperate shoulders. Haha what an interesting little figure.

No point to what I'm sayin, just sharing! Happy with the lil fella :D

I just now got Spinout and Sunsurge. Awesome deal in my opinion, both for $55. Sunstreaker was my first non minibot TF as a kid. I like spinout because its closer to the g1 toy. It came missing a front tire but its simply molded and I can whip one up with a cast of the other. Its rather sturdy except that the arm shoulder joints are loose when the arms are pointing forward. The engine blower if funky looking, wish it was more g1 looking. He's also an inch taller than Sunsurge. I can see why people didn't like it at first purchase. Its like buying a new car with a faulty air conditioner. However, I feel lucky to have been able to make the purchase that I did. I feel safe making adjustments if I do so. Looks like his neck needs some shaving as his head sits too far forward.
