I was with my Mother at a Garage Sale and on a far table in the back of the Garage was a basket of toys and to the side of the basket was this guy Sideswipe. I sat there looking at it saying to myself "Nahh this cant be" I picked it up and asked how much and the lady said $1.00. I had a 5 so I gave it to her and said keep it. I am still in Ahhh.
I swear. I am still in shock. I would not lie about something like this. I always purchase my TFs online and pay quit a bit for future releases. 2 days ago I bought Ironhide from Jenny. I cant believe it myself. EDIT: For those of you that know me I have been on these boards for 5 years now and have never made any outlandish posts or threads. I have always purchased my pre realeas for loads of money and and still do. Believe me or not. I am still in shock over this and will be for quit sometime.
wow if this IS true (not saying I don't believe you but somethings not right) then sir.....you............SUCK
A receipt? From a garage sale? What would that be, a Post-It note? Nah, not doubting you since I know you're a pre-release dude, it's just the circumstances that would allow this to happen are mind-boggling. Someone would have had to pay what was most likely crazy amounts of money to get it, then somehow allow it to fall into the "wrong hands" and end up with garage sale crap. Were other TFs there? If so, which ones?
Nothing that I recognized. There were some action figures I think a few were GI Joes and some plastic dinosaurs and such. Sideswipe was very out of place.
wow.. the only thing I can see happening, is that someone bought it online really early, then his mom or whatever sold it on him I hope he finds this thread!!
It's quite simple really. Either someone in that household spent some time in China and found him there and brought it back after a business trip or vacation. Or it belonged to someone who paid a ridiculous "Jenny" price for it online...went to work or school or someplace where he/she wasn't home and then.... (and I know this better than most, my mom sold quite few of my things when I wasn't around to vouch for them ) Mom came and did what she does best. Starts grabbing whatever she thinks her son/husband/daughter won't miss because, "I haven't seen you play with this ever" or "it was on the floor and I stepped on it fell and almost broke my neck, so you must not care about it that much if you left it on the floor" so therefore it get's sold for a dollar. I'm curious though. Was it in car mode when you bought it/found it? She may have thought it was just some cheap plastic car toy.
