I noticed that Robotkingdom has Encore series Omega Supreme back in stock once again for like $100. That a good deal?? Thought it was cheaper than that once before.

according to ebay's completed listings you CAN get it with some luck for cheaper than that.
I recently bought it from RK though :)

That's extremely subjective. I really like it, but I can't guarantee you will. You should check out some youtube reviews of him if you haven't already.

    Ebay:
i got my Encore Omega Supreme from RK during the past year for $72+ shipping.
so i think that a C-Note is a bit much for him.

as far as liking it, my attachment to it is nostalgic and quite sentimental. to be objective, the toy doesn't seem like much.
and it's a noisemaker. but, to me, it's joy in a box.

he is a decent addition to your G1 or Classics shelf if you want or need a base-bot.
if you can get the Encore Metroplex for much cheaper, that may be a better value for you. (just get both anyway, lol.)

    Ebay:
Omega Supreme is awesome, especially because he's a mini train set. I have no regrets from purchasing him.

I had it - got it for £48 shipped, but - and this is coming from a G1 fan, and pretty much a G1 vintage-exclusive buyer - I sold it on. I just didn't like the figure at all. Terrible transformation, looked ungainly and out of place next to the rest of my G1 TFs, and I concluded the money could be better spent elsewhere.

But lots of people love him, so I am in the minority! I do feel that the non-Takara early '84-86 moulds from G1 (OS, Sky Lynx, Roadbuster, Deluxe Insecticons, Jumpstarters etc) really do pale in comparison and look quite out of place.

I bought the original G1 figure in really good shape for $60. The electronics are not working, but I will try to fix them. Other then that, the thing is awesome.

You will be surprised by the arm articulation. If it had knee articulation it would be perfect. He is a wonderful figure and he can be displayed with Classics if you wanted to.

I got mine from HLJ during their clearance sales for about $35, along with Metroplex, Henkei Voyager Prime, the Rumble/Frenzy Earpieces, and a really big box with some expensive shipping attached to it several years ago.

Personally I love OS. His walking is a bit silly and he's the very definition of partsformer, but to me he's a fun piece. I had bought a vintage with a few clips missing way back in the late 90's, but I far prefer the re-issue due to the new facepiece.

Yeah that's a good deal for Piranacon. Too bad shipping from BBTS would cost me 25% of the toy's value in import tax.

Ok so I missed out on Omega Supreme but I did manage to get Piranacon for $30 and got Encore Metroplex also while back. Now I'm thinking about picking up either Encore Devastator or Reissue Predaking!! Both would be from Robotkingdom!!
