I put too much detail into this. Why you might ask? I had the crazy idea that a steam punk locomotive that can travel across space would be a kick ass idea for OS (think Galaxy Express 999... only full of guns) but with all the piping the detail has kinda gone OTT colours will help bring it all together but looking at it right now I think I might of gone over kill... oh well

As for colours I plan to match G1 for the most part with a lot of the piping being a silver or copper colour

As for the transformation its a mix of Energon and the Red Rangers Dragon Zord so it kinda transforms in a W shape with their being some interesting joints and lots of panels moving around the legs area to let them bend.

on a side note I actually gave up on this twice and started 2 other picks a hybrid WFC/Armada Demolisher and Battle Trap. so I hope to get those to finished not long after this is coloured up.

I was about to message you on Deviantart to see when we should be expecting another masterpiece. Really looking strong Blitz, I don't think the detail is too distracting, especially once it's colored. It really adds and takes alot of patience and skill to do that so props especially since we really haven't seen too many mega sized TFs from you. On another note, I was just looking through your tutorial picking up tips but how did you make your own light box? Just got to ink a couple pieces.

I'd like that a lot, too many of my pencil marks stay if even if I erase my lines after inking.

It's awesome. I can't help but see his right arm as a House, though.

    Nice coloring, too.

    Nothing wrong with detail.

Interesting concept. It's kind of like a cross between Omega Supreme and that trail bot from Web Diver. Or at least that's what it made me think of.

Wow. Your art soo continues to be the best designs out there. The only thing I got to say though is that I kinda feel the colors are too dull. Although I totally feel like he's a missing piece from HOS I kinda wish there was a brighter color on him that brought more attention. Even if you kept the colors you have, some of that grey in my opinion is to continuous and not broken up enough. However, that being said your ability to shade and add texture to your coloring is top notch.

As for the light box, don't do anything too inconvenient, I'm just trying to improve my art.

I like both the colour schemes. :)
The thing that does help with the latter is that his cannon hand is a different colour so it stands out more. In the first one it was getting kind of lost with the details of his shoulder.

the detail is actually neccesary considering how big this is supposed to be.
oh ya, i like the second colour scheme better, its probably because i like that shade of purple and that blue...oh well, keep up the great work!
